Verizon wireless said it has resolved an outage that affected thousands of customers throughout central Ohio yesterday. Customers could not make or receive phone calls in what the company said was a “network disruption.” Some customers said they were without service for over three hours. Verizon said it was an issue concentrated in East Columbus. If you have a 4G LTE phone you can avoid the same problem going to settings and activate HD voice calling. Approximately 40 percent of customers have it and that should alleviate the problem for them.
