VFW building in Pioneer to become Logger’s Lounge

The Pioneer Veterans of Foreign Wars building on West First Street has been sold. It will not be empty for long as plans are to have it back in business under a new name: Logger’s Lounge. According to the new owners, Nancy and Randy Lawson of Pioneer, the target date for opening will be in the spring of 2017. They already own Lawson’s Logging in Pioneer. The announcement was made via the Logger’s Lounge Facebook page in mid-December and the sale of the building has been confirmed by VFW officials.
