Villareal Gets Sentenced

An area man is sentenced to prison in a Defiance County courtroom…and ordered to forfeit a large amount of cash and a vehicle, in a fentanyl-related case. Gilberto Villarreal pled no contest to trafficking a fentanyl-related compound and more. He gets 5-7 years with credit for 160 days served in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, while his case was pending. Over 41 hundred dollars in restitution for Villareal, as well…and he loses his pickup. One of the persons he sold it to, nearly overdosed, we reported.
