A Lake James man who pleaded guilty on Monday to three cases in Steuben Superior Court, learned that he will be spending the next 4 1/2 years behind bars. 29-year-old Danny Lee Rhudy was handed three-18 month consecutive sentences on three felony counts including two counts for failing to register as a sex or violent offender. His other guilty plea centered around charges related to resisting law enforcement. As part of the plea deal that was worked out, two other cases against Rhudy were dismissed. At the end of the day though, Rhudy did get a tiny bit of good news… he was given credit for 84 days already served. But although he had asked to serve his time in Community Corrections, he was denied that request.
