Walters Faces Charges

A Defiance man is arrested after leading officers in a car chase. The cops see Thomas Walters at Clinton and Downs streets…he doesn’t have a license plate. When they try to pull him over…Walters hits the gas instead. The pursuit ends after roughly 30 minutes…in a yard on Thurston St., not far from Walters’ home, just south of downtown Defiance. He was taken to CCNO where he was treated with Narcan. A handgun is found in his car. State and local officials continue their investigation into the matter at this hour.
