Warehouse Destroyed In Defiance

A fire destroys the Howerton Enterprises warehouse on S. Jackson St.in Defiance. Fire and smoke could be seen for blocks…much of it from the back of the building…as the fire team moves in to fight the blaze. The warehouse was used to store after-market auto parts. No injuries were reported. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation by the Ohio Fire Marshal’s Office.
