The Ohio, Michigan, Indiana Council of Governments meet in Williams County, in its first public meeting as a body since forming earlier this year. The council is the result of local efforts to band together governmental bodies from the nine counties in three states that draw water from the aquifer. An overview of similar work in Elkhart County was presented. In all, ten groundwater observation wells is set for Williams County, with data collections to take place over five years.
