Williams County is one of 11 northwest Ohio counties to receive Ohio Environmental Protection Agency funding to repair or replace failing household sewage treatment systems. The Williams County Health Department received $300,000 in principal forgiveness loan money. Henry County also received $300,000. Eligible homeowners will receive a 100, 85 or 50 percent share in principal forgiveness for the cost to repair or replace their failing septic system. The percentage is dependent on family household income levels.
