The Williams County Health Department encourages families to stay in touch with their friends and loved ones without physical contact. They suggest family members use computers, cellphones, and tablets to message and call loved ones while staying safe inside their own homes. In addition, they suggest returning to the practice of writing and mailing letters. According to public health experts at the Ohio Department of Health, many Ohioans are infected unknowingly with COVID-19 and spread the illness to others before they show any symptoms. Slowing the rate of the infection by staying home is critical to save lives.
