Weed Bust In Oakwood

In Oakwood…a months-long investigation ends with the seizure of large marijuana plants and the arrest of Gary Owens at an E. Harmon St. address. A search warrant was executed…26 plants…a substantial amount of cash and more are found in the search of the place. The residence is next to Oakwood Elementary School…and Owens’ charges will reflect that…making them even more serious. The case is expected to be presented to a Paulding County grand jury in the future.
