Wendy Stapleton, 49

Wendy D. Stapleton, 49, of Bryan passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 18, 2015. She was born on November 24, 1965 in Augusta, Georgia to Marshall J. and Lawana M. (McGraw) Stapleton. She graduated from Montpelier High School.

Wendy worked for the Williams County EMS for 20 years. She also worked as a home health aide and also an S.T.N.A. at the nursing homes around Williams County. Wendy was a member of the Montpelier Eagles, she loved her dog Savannah and to crochet. She loved to travel to Tybee Island in Savannah, Georgia to visit the beach with her family.

Wendy is survived by her two daughters, Caitlyn (Tom) Freese of Bryan, Ohio and Mariah L. Skiles of Hicksville, Ohio; granddaughter, Hayden Freese; and best friends, Connie Dean and Kevin McCoy both of Montpelier, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents and other close aunts and uncles.

A memorial visitation for Wendy will be on Thursday October 22, 2015 from 11am-1pm at Thompson Funeral Home on Main Street in Montpelier. A memorial service will take place at 1pm on Thursday at the funeral home with Reverend Dee Dean Wentz to officiate. Interment will follow at Fountain Grove Cemetery in Bryan. Memorial contributions can be given to the family to help with funeral expenses.
