Heads up Williams County. Health officials warn recent testing shows West Nile Virus is back for another summer. Five tests came up positive here. Three more results came up the same in Henry County, too. No human cases have been reported. The best way to battle the virus?…Prevention…Get rid of any standing water sources around you. Old tires, and other vessels that can hold water are prime targets to start with. Also, mosquitoes are very active at sunrise and sunset, so be sure to wear long sleeves and long trousers then. And, effective mosquito repellants are plentiful at the store. So far this season, a handful of positive cases of West Nile in humans has been confirmed by medical officials, statewide.
