A West Unity firm has been fined by OSHA. BDJ/Techmation, Inc. was cited earlier this month by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration for six workplace safety violations. The Bryan Times reports OSHA fined the company $14,339 for violations involving hazardous materials, protective gear and industrial powered trucks. The violations resulted from an inspection in January after company owner and president Brian Balser reported an accident at the facility that injured a worker. Balser said the employee has since returned to work at the company, located at 516 Parkway St., West Unity, and all safety issues have been resolved.
