Administrator Ric Beals has completed a six month probationary period and council approved his annual salary of $38,000.
The Bryan Times reports that West Unity Village Council also approved the second reading of a resolution to oppose a bill now in the house which would reduce village income tax collections, and an abandoned home on South Defiance Street was demolished on Thursday.
