Which county hands out more CCW’s?

New numbers from the state show Williams County issues more concealed carry permits than larger counties like Defiance and Fulton. Last year, Williams County issued 394 CCW permits, fifty more than Fulton County. And Defiance issued 190 gun licenses. Sheriff’s Clerk Lisa Nye told the Bryan Times that Williams gets a lot of applicants from neighboring counties because they have more hours open. They’re open 35 hours a week, with no appointment required. Nye also said they feel that as employees paid by tax dollars, they try to show good customer service and make it as convenient as possible.
