Whitehead Case Update

Hugh Whitehead, the Bryan man accused of rape, assault, abduction and more in a Dec. 6th incident, is arraigned by a Williams County grand jury. Bryan Police says he held his victim against her will. The indictment adds Whitehead is a sexually violent predator. Prosecutors also say he threatened to kill someone else and burn their home down. Whitehead was found to be indigent and was appointed counsel by the court. He is held at CCNO on bond. A final pretrial conference is set for Jan. 22.
