Williams County will be applying for more funding to help address lead paint in homes. County commissioners met with the Maumee Valley Planning Organization…to discuss applying for the additional funds. MVPO administers it through the Community Housing Impact and Preservation Lead Abatement Program for the county. Officials say…Williams County has already spent $20,000 dollars of the original $30,000 it was awarded, with more projects available for remediation. The county will be seeking an additional $35,000 through the program, now.
