Good news on the jobs front for Williams County: its 5.1 percent unemployment rate in March was the best in the four-county area, though all four counties saw reductions in joblessness. Williams’ rate is a full percentage point lower than in March 2014, when it stood at 6.1 percent. Williams County ranks in the best one-third of all Ohio counties and matches the state-wide average unemployment rate. It’s a far cry from 2010 when Williams topped out at 16 percent.
