WILLIAMS COMMISSIONERS AGREE ON NEW TRUCK AND NEW EMPLOYEE

Williams County Com­mis­sion­ers met on Mon­day.

The Bryan Times reports that the meet­ing resulted in a new truck and a new human resources offi­cer.

Com­mis­sion­ers on Mon­day, approved a let­ter of rec­om­men­da­tion to hire Laura Brady as a human resources offi­cer 2 in the county’s depart­ment of Job and Fam­ily Ser­vices. Brady’s new job is effec­tive Aug. 5.

Com­mis­sion­ers approved an $8,860 bid to pur­chase a 2004 Chevro­let Sil­ver­ado 1500 from Land­mark Chevro­let Buick. The “new/used” truck will be used by cour­t­house personnel.
