Williams County Commissioners accepted one resignation and made two appointments Monday.
Department of Job and Family Services Social Services Supervisor Geri Severs submitted a letter of resignation for retirement, effective Dec. 31. The board accepted it “with regrets,”.
The Bryan Times reports this morning that Commissioners also appointed Ned Allen Garver and Neil Oberlin to serve on the Board of Developmental Disabilities for one term, Jan. 1, 2013 to Dec. 31, 2016. Garver will replace LeRoy Feather, who resigned at the end of his term. Oberlin will replace Marlene Oxender who completed a third and final term.
