The Williams County Board of Health approves a resolution that will allow the department to roll out messaging strategies for vaccination outreach. The resolution extends a contract with an Ohio University health communications professor that has been working with the department this past month…and recommending communication strategies to increase vaccination rates among kindergarten-aged children. Officials say…there are a few reasons why parents may not have their child’s vaccinations up to date, including medical exemptions, philosophical or religious exemptions, or, often, parents just get busy and fall behind.
