Williams County commissioners approve purchase of truck for engineer’s office.

The Williams County commissioners approve the purchase of a truck for the engineer’s office for next year. The tandem axle truck is not to cost more than $127,910. The request for the purchase was made at the end of last month. The commissioners also gave approval of a request for the Williams County Farmers Market to use the north and east side of the courthouse square from May 18 to Oct. 26 on Thursdays and Saturdays. There was also discussion on getting information out on an electric aggregation issue that will appear on the March primary ballot. Representatives plan to present information at a township trustees meeting and a candidates forum night, both on Feb. 15.
