Williams County commissioners commit additional funding to the Multi-Area Narcotics Unit.

The Williams County commissioners Thursday committed to providing $10,000 in additional funding to the Multi-Area Narcotics Unit to maintain a liaison position. The mental health/substance abuse liaison position was created in 2024 through a grant that will expire later this year. The opioid money provided to Ohio through a settlement agreement would be allowed to fund such a position.
