Williams County Commissioners considering raising the dog license fee and the kennel fee

Williams County Commissioners say they’ll consider raising the dog license fee and the kennel fee.
County dog warden Pam Stark on Thursday asked commissioners to consider raising the license fee from $16 to $18 to better align with the fee charged by other nearby counties, including Defiance, Fulton and Henry counties.
Stark, who is retiring on August 31, stated the licenses fee needs to go up to be competitive with other counties. In keeping with Ohio Revised Code, the kennel fee is set at five times the license fee, so it would also rise accordingly.
