Williams County commissioners exploring possibility of adding a county administrator position.

Is there room for one more? The Williams County commissioners are exploring the possibility of adding a county administrator position. According to the Bryan Times, “I would like to move forward with the county administrator, and I think at this point I’d like to ask (clerk Anne Retcher) to start advertising for and try to set up some interviews for that as soon as possible,” said Williams County Commissioner Board President Bart Westfall. “I think it’s time we do that,” added Commissioner Lewis Hilkert. He goes on to say we also have a lot of other boards we’re being on, and as a result, if we had an administrator, an administrator can be following up on a lot of legality things on the different projects and things that we’re doing,” Hilkert added.
