In financial news, the Williams County commissioners Tuesday received a quarterly update on investments and conducted some personnel business.Williams County Treasurer Kellie Gray presented good news for the investment update.“The first quarter of this year has been very good,” Gray said. “The net interest was $602,401.” The Bryan Times reports that is about $140,000 higher than the net interest this time last year, which was also higher than any previous year dating to at least 2013.
