Williams County Fair Elections To Be Held Saturday

The Williams County Agri­cul­tural Soci­ety has announced that the Fair Board is hold­ing its annual elec­tions from 1–7 p.m. this Sat­ur­day at the fair­grounds in Mont­pe­lier.

Fair Board elec­tions nor­mally are held the Mon­day of the fair. This year how­ever, the elec­tions were delayed due to an admin­is­tra­tive mix-up accord­ing to the board.

That hap­pened when notices were not posted as required under Ohio law, with at least two com­pet­ing news­pa­pers three weeks prior to the elec­tion.

The next reg­u­lar Fair Board meet­ing will be held on Thurs­day, Octo­ber 16th at 7pm at the fair­grounds.
