Williams County has $150,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds available to villages and townships to help fund up to four projects over the next two years, Sandy Kessler, community economic development planner for the Maumee Valley Planning Organization, told county commissioners and more than a half-dozen village and township representatives on Monday. Typical projects include water and sewer, storm drainage, fire protection and equipment, parks and recreation and demolition, Kessler said. Applications are due to MVPO by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 5.
