Williams County has only one countywide contested race on the ballot

Voters in Williams County have only one countywide contested race on the ballot this election, when they decide between Republican Terry Rummel and Independent Rodney Miller for the open county commissioner seat. Miller or Rummel will replace Alan Word, who decided in June of 2015 not to run for re-election. Miller, of West Unity, had filed as a Republican before the March 15 primary election where he would have been one of four candidates vying for the one nomination, but he withdrew in January of this year to run as an Independent.
