The high winds knock out power to hundreds in Williams County. FirstEnergy reports 78,068 customers in Ohio were without power for a time on Sunday. Utility officials confirm Williams County accounted for 323 of those customers with Center Township having the most at 283. Power is not expected to be fully restored for some time for several customers. The whipping winds makes it nearly impossible for crews to use equipment to get access to many utility poles. The gales, combined with the wet ground, is causing trees to fall, knocking out many of the utility lines in question.
