Woman Badly Hurt In Standoff

A woman is hurt after she is shot at a Nettle Lake residence on Biscayne Blvd. David Reutz faces charges. After speaking with Reutz, a deputy went to the home and tried to speak with Diana Galla, who came out of a bedroom with a handgun. Deputies establish a perimeter and put medics on standby a few hundred yards away. Officers tried for hours to talk with Galla…when they hear a muffled gunshot. Galla shot herself. She was flown to Parkview. Reutz is charged with domestic violence. The investigation continues.
