Woman fighting brain cancer needs help

A fundraiser will be held Sat­ur­day for a brave young woman who has been fight­ing a can­cer­ous brain tumor for 12 years, and any­one who wants to con­tribute items for an auc­tion can help. 23-year-old Chelsie Lam­bert, who lives south of Defi­ance in Con­ti­nen­tal, has suf­fered a stroke and her fam­ily needs help with the increas­ing med­ical bills. The fundraiser will be held at Rock Church on Ohio 637 near Oak­wood on Sat­ur­day. The event begins at noon, with live music, food, a 50/50 draw­ing and auc­tion.
