Wyse Death Determined

The Williams County coroner releases a preliminary report on the death of Anthony Wyse, of Montpelier. The official cause of Wyse’s death was drowning, with no signs of trauma or foul play. Deputies recovered Wyse’s body from the St. Joseph River near County Road J and McKarns Lake. The Williams County Sheriff’s Office conducted searches in and around the lake throughout last week. His body was found in the river, Friday evening.
