March primary set

The March 15th Republican primary will have two hotly contested county commissioner seats up for election, with five candidates who want the jobs. One of those candidates will run as an independent, after he indicated he will withdraw his Republican Party petition. Rodney Miller has already been approved as the GOP candidate vying for Alan Word’s seat. He told the Bryan Times he’s unhappy with the local Republican party and will run as an independent. Miller is one of 13 candidates and one issue certified to be on the ballot.
