The Defiance County Courthouse’s makeover is moving right along. While the exterior upgrades should begin soon, for the roof, brick work and adding a tower, the interior work should be done by then end of February. According to the maintenance supervisor, most of the work is being done by his staff, and it began in November. They’re painting, wallpapering and installing new ceiling tiles. The first floor renovations have been completed, and the second floor is underway now. The total cost of the project is $1.5 million.
