Electricity to be shut off in Pioneer for a short time Sunday morning.

The village of Pioneer has announced that on Sunday from 6 a.m. to 6:05 a.m., the village’s electricity would be cut off.  All locals and businesses will be impacted by the outage.   Anthony Burnett, village administrator, stated that the planned outage is a result of an earlier-week disruption. The Fayette FirstEnergy substation, which provides the village with electricity, was to blame for the outage.
