A 27-year-old Swanton man was arrested on Friday. Anthony Roberts was picked up for failure to appear on several traffic violations. He was turned over to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.
A West Unity driver was cited for failure to control late last week after crashing her Jeep. Amber Austin was injured in the crash and treated at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan, then released.
A Montpelier man reported to police he was forced off the road Friday morning about 2:30 a.m. by a vehicle, that made him crash into a ditch. The other car has not been found.
Montpelier police arrested a 12-year-old for having marijuana. He was arrested and charged, then released to his parent.
And here’s one to make you smile this morning. A woman called police to report she couldn’t get in to her car in a parking lot on County Road J on Sunday morning because a black bulldog was blocking her way. A deputy responded and didn’t use a gun, instead he petted the dog until she was able to get in her car and drive away.
