HAZMAT deals with crashed, abandoned car

A crashed car leaking fluids was a problem for Paulding County, which asked a HAZMAT team to come and help clean up the oily mess on Monday. At first, the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office were told it was an abandoned vehicle on a ditch embankment on County Road 133. The vehicle was about 200 feet off the roadway and leaking motor fluids and oil into the ditch. HAZMAT placed booms to catch the runoff. It is not known how long the vehicle was leaking fluids prior to being reported.
