Water mains to be flushed

If your water looks a little rusty, its because the Bryan Municipal Water Department is beginning the spring water main flushing. The rusty colored water is temporary. It’s safe to drink, but you may not want to wash clothes in it because it can stain light-colored clothing. The water superintendent recommends that when you see the water has changed color, flush your lines by running water in the bath tub. The water flushing schedule lasts about a month.
