Ford recalling hundreds of thousands of vehicles for transmission, suspension problems

If you drive a Ford F-150 or Expedition, Mustang or Navigator, you’ll want to know this. Ford is recalling 200,000 pickups, SUVs and cars because the automatic transmissions can suddenly downshift into first gear. Ford says its a software problem in a speed sensor. Three crashes have been reported with no injuries.
Also, Ford is recalling 81,000 Explorers to fix a rear suspension problem. The welds were not adequate and could fracture the suspension links.
All repairs are done at no cost to the owners. Watch your mail for the recall information.
