Robber flees after attempting gas station robbery

Paulding County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a robbery in progress at the Charloe Store Gas Station on Road 138 in Brown Township. One suspect was seen. He is described as a white male, 5’4”, wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and brown work boots. The suspect had on a black ball hat with a light colored bill and a black bandana over his face. The male fled west bound on Road 138 in what appeared to be a black Ford Focus. Two employees in the store reported the male demanded all the store’s money and did not show a weapon. When the hesitated to comply, the suspect fled and got away with nothing.
