Crash involves teen, semi

One person was injured Monday night after a two vehicle accident on State Road 120 west of the Fremont Outlet Mall. Steuben County Sheriff’s Deputies found a 1991 Jeep Cherokee driven by a 17-year-old juvenile from Howe, Indiana in the middle of the roadway blocking both lanes of travel. The driver drove left of center and hit a trailer pulled by a 2001 Freight-liner driven by Kenneth Schmucker of Sturgis, Michigan. The 17 year old Juvenile was taken to Cameron Hospital for treatment by ambulance. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
