Delta crash closes turnpike in morning drive

A fiery crash injured one person and forced the eastbound lanes of the Ohio Turnpike closed near Delta for about two hours yesterday. The crash involved a truck that caught on fire and was reported about 7:10 a.m. east of State Rt. 109. Traffic was back to normal by 9:30 a.m., according to a dispatcher. The Ohio Highway Patrol said one person was treated for minor injuries. The name of the victim was not released.
