Sex offender found guilty

In Steuben Superior Court, 37-year- old Jason Little was found guilty of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender by a jury. The case was decided after five witnesses testified for the prosecution, and the defendant also took the stand. The jury returned a guilty verdict in just under fifteen minutes of deliberation. The prosecution then presented further evidence that the Defendant had a prior conviction for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. This time, in under five minutes of deliberation, the jury returned a guilty verdict for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender with a Prior Conviction, a Class C Felony. A sentencing hearing has been set for June 27. Little faces up to eight years in prison.
