Last week’s Bryan Jubilee drew less people this year than last, but the Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Director said it was a big success, and last year’s event was the largest in its 16 year history. The weather is always part of the story, and that likely was a factor this year. The parade featured about 70 entries, including the Bryan High School Marching Band and the grand marshal, The Dum Dums Drum Man, celebrating the candy company’s mascot’s 50th anniversary. Anyone with ideas about how to make the festival better next year is invited to call the Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce.
