Lindstrom pleads not guilty to rape charge

A Defiance man was arraigned on four child sexual abuse charges in Defiance County Common Pleas Court. 34-year-old Curtis Lindstrom pleaded not guilty to felony rape and three counts of gross sexual imposition. The charges allege that in May he engaged in sexual conduct with a child less than 10 years old in different locations in Defiance. If Lindstrom is convicted, the rape charge carries a potential prison term of life imprisonment without parole due to the alleged victim’s age. He has a pretrial hearing set for July 18 and bond was set at $500,000.
