The Spangler Candy mascot, the Dum-Dum Pop Drum Man, has a big birthday this year. He’s turning the big 5-0, and he’s not having a mid-life crisis. What he is having is a big birthday on August 20th. The fun begins at 10 a.m. There will be bounce houses, cake and ice cream, dancing and games for all. The party is at Portland and Mulberry Street in Bryan.
