Motorists in Bryan will have new areas to watch out for with the beginning of the new school year and re-purposing of some school buildings. There are also a few not-so-new rules of the road. The Bryan Times reports a total of 18 new bus-route color-coded stops have been added in the areas where students used to walk to and from Lincoln Elementary — primarily from West Mulberry Street to East South Street, all west of Main Street. The district and Transportation Director Joe Beck have made safety a priority in the creation of four new town bus routes, making sure each stop is made once on the north side and once on the south side of the roadway.
