Five local companies submit bids for Durham Estates sanitary sewer improvements project

Five local companies submitted bids to Williams County commissioners for the Durham Estates sanitary sewer improvements project. The work includes removing the old treatment plant northwest of Belfast Lane abutting the Orchard Hills Golf Course and running lines from there along Country Club Drive to tie into an existing main sewer line at County Road D. The estimated bid price with contingencies is $318,698. The bids will be reviewed and a bidder selected as early as this week.
