Arson now suspected in the fire that destroyed a vacant house

Arson is now suspected in the fire that destroyed a vacant house east of Edgerton on Wednesday. Edgerton Fire Chief Scott Blue said his department responded to the blaze at 1:49 p.m. Wednesday, on County Road 6, with mutual aid from the Bryan, Montpelier and Farmer fire departments.Blue added they knew it was suspicious in nature because they know where the fire started and found nothing there that could have started it accidentally.
